Guess who is home:)

We have had the weirdest summer!  Savannah and Derek have been both gone for a Month.  Derek was working for my brother Darren and Savannah was off to EFY and sports camps!  They both finally made it home!  We were so happy to see them!

Steve's cousin Terry and family came to visit for the weekend and we had a great time!  Terry is a professional photographer and took many photo's!  Not very many of himself.  I guess that is the luxury  of being the photographer.  haha We had a great time getting to know his new wife Sue and their kids Cody and Breanna.

4th of July

I am really behind on posting so I will try to catch up!  Steve flew us in his plane to Grants pass for the 4th of July.  It was really great to see so many family members.  We got caught up with the Pennington side and got see Grandma Green and her CRAZY cat who tried to attach Grace and I!

The Schwartz family came to visit!  YAY!  Justin's brother Nik came home from his mission so they were able to stay for a few days!  The babies had their 2nd birthday!  Crazy how fast that goes!  They are doing so great!  I can't imagine our family without them.

Derek Graduates High School

Our last graduation was actually our biggest!  Derek graduated from Moscow High School!  WOO HOO!  What a exciting night and a great accomplishment!  We were so proud!  Grandma and Grandpa Pennington & Jackie and the babies came to help celebrate!  We had a great party before and had lots of friends come and congratulate Derek!  He then left to work for my brother Darren for the summer.  So he is off and will return the end of July!  WE MISS HIM!  His plan is to go to Provo and attend UVU in the aviation department and leave on his mission this time next year.

5th grade Graduation

Grace was 1st 5th grade class to graduate from McDonald Elementary School - when they decided to move the 9th graders up to the high school, they also made the Jr. High into a Middle School.  So this was Grace's last year in Elementary school!  BOO!  I love elementary school!  It was weird to think we have had a child at McDonald Elementary for 16 years.  We will miss all the school picnics, book fairs, The Burley Crew (5 times), field trips and all the teachers we have had and loved!

9th grade Graduation

Savannah was the last class in Moscow to graduate from the Moscow Jr. High.  They are moving the 9th graders to the high school next year.  She ended up with a 4.0 to start her high school transcript!  Little smart!  We love this girl!  She is the best!  She is gone for most of the summer visiting her sisters, cousins at EFY and Volleyball camps.  We already miss her! COME HOME!

Steve flew us in his plane to visit all our kids and grandkids in Utah!  It is so nice to fly for 3 hours instead of driving for 10!

Lots to update about -  Justin Graduated from Utah State!  They have decided to stay in Logan and are hoping to get hired on this summer as a flight instructor and start accumulating lots of hours so he can apply to airlines. Derek Graduated from Seminary!  WOOO HOOO that is a huge accomplishment with all the conflicts that basketball and football have had with early morning seminary for the last 4 years!

Moscow High School had prom tonight.  Wow!  Derek is a Senior!   He sure is a handsome Devil!  Every week seems to be the next last thing to check off before he is out of house :(  We will miss this cute boy!
